Joe Adkins

Joe Adkins is a highly accomplished financial professional with over 15 years of industry experience. Mr. Adkins holds a series 65 license, a PL-215 license, and real estate brokers license as well as his associate in arts and many certifications and credits. Mr. Adkins specializes in Active Money Management coupled with Strategic Asset Allocation, adjusting client portfolios in response to market and economic conditions, often in a tactical style. Mr. Adkins also has expertise in data analysis and market analytics performed on prospective companies and sectors for purchase, debt market analysis ranging from US Corporate Bonds to Sovereign Wealth Funds, and technical analysis of stocks and ETFs using a broad array of indicators such as MACD crossovers (oscillator), SMA/EMA Crossover Triggers, Wilder’s RSI, Volume, Money Flows, Japanese Candlestick interpretation, and more.

Mr. Adkins specializes in providing training to insurance agents and agencies on how to integrate asset management into their practice and is dedicated to mentoring financial advisors through their securities licensing process, including Series 65 and Series 66 exams. With his skills in computer programming, Mr. Adkins codes custom systems for efficiency and effectiveness, building custom programs using programming languages such as AutoIt, C Sharp, Power FX, Digital Basic, Python, PowerShell, Java, and JSON.

As the Owner and Lead Portfolio Manager at Global Asset Management Group, Inc., Mr. Adkins manages nearly $100 million in assets on the TD Ameritrade Institutional platform, delivering exceptional service to his clients. He also leads The Realty Factor, Inc., which has achieved success through his extensive knowledge and experience in the industry. With his dedication to providing exceptional service and solutions to his clients, Mr. Adkins is an exceptional asset to the financial industry.

Meet the Team
Kathi Adkins serves as a valuable member of Global Asset Management Group (GAMG). With 15 years of experience as a licensed realtor and six years as a licensed insurance agent, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Kathi’s meticulous attention to detail makes her an expert at auditing documents for accuracy. Additionally, she helps manage incoming phone calls and emails, redirecting them to the appropriate person when necessary. Clients looking to invest in real estate often turn to Kathi for guidance, as she works closely with Denise Adkins to provide exceptional service. Kathi is also a great resource for insurance-related questions and can follow up with carriers to obtain the necessary information.

Seth Lewis serves as our versatile tech support professional, helping GAMG stay ahead of the curve in the ever-changing digital landscape. Seth focuses on automating processes, which allows us to reduce costs and pass those savings on to our clients. His expertise in network security and programming languages enables us to maintain a secure network and develop custom programs to streamline policy management.

Mary Bishop is a crucial member of our team, serving as Joe Adkins’ executive assistant. Mary’s knowledge of financial documentation and preparation helps us expedite the onboarding process for new clients. She also helps us maintain accurate internal databases through checklists and audits, keeping our agents connected to Joe and ensuring all required documents are accounted for. With years of experience in the industry, including working for an attorney and Joe for the past five years, Mary knows how to keep things moving.

Robert Glickman serves as our hiring manager for outside advisors and a registered investment advisor with his Series 65 License. He brings a wealth of experience to GAMG, having previously worked as a lawyer with a stellar reputation in the community. Bob’s expertise and follow-up skills make him an integral part of our agent recruiting program. He is always willing to share his knowledge with clients and associates and ensures that nothing falls through the cracks.

Denise Adkins, our general counsel, is a vital member of the GAMG team, and she also happens to be married to Joe. With licenses to practice law in Florida, the District of Columbia, and the Federal Court Middle District of Florida, Denise is a legal expert who manages her own law firm, The law offices of Denise L Adkins, PA, as well as The Rental Factor, a property management company. Denise’s knowledge of compliance keeps us informed about upcoming changes in laws and programs, while also keeping an eye out for real estate investment opportunities for our clients. Her expertise and experience make her an exceptional asset to GAMG.

Rhys Appleby is a key member of the Global Asset Management Group (GAMG) team, providing critical assistance with day-to-day client requests. With his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida, Rhys brings a strong work ethic and attention to detail to his role, ensuring that clients receive top-notch service. As a valuable member of the GAMG team, Rhys works tirelessly to meet our clients’ needs and provides customized solutions that simplify their financial lives.
